YOUNG PEOPLE IN ALBANIA 14-18 YEARS OLD AND THE EU – PERCEPTIONS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPECTATIONS By CSR COMMUNICATION CENTER

This document is an analysis of the young people perceptions, knowledge and expectations about the Albanian EU integration process, and where the youth stands. This study is part of the deliverables of the project EU for Albanian Youth (EU4AL) under the EU IPA 2015 programme “Support to Civil Society Organizations for the Implementation of Capacity Building Actions to Increase Policy Dialogue and Awareness on European Integration Process”. The aim of this document is to understand challenges and to address them if young people will be supported to play their important role in Albanian society as part of the EU family. This study will help young people to create a policy framework, which will ensure that Albanian society as part of the EU to be prosperous, where will be more and better jobs, and young people to have clear pathways between the world of learning and work. This policy paper will promote cohesion within Albanian society itself, development of inclusive ethnic background models where all young people including vulnerable groups can find a place. This process is an essential foundation stone for the development of citizenship practice at national level.
