CSR Communication Center, held a two days training on “Personal Development, leadership and active citizenship training for Albanian youngster.” The participants were 14-19 years old, respectively high school children mainly from Tirana and Durres. “Shine” call was launched on social media of CSR Communication Center, reaching and giving equal opportunities to a wide target audience. “Shine” is a serios of trainings developed under EU4AL Project. EU4AL is an IPA2015/AL/28 project, that is being implemented in Albania during October 2019 – June 2021. This project is endorsed for Financing by the European Union to the contracting authority, the General Directorate for Financing and Contracting of EU, World Bank and Other Donor Funds, Central Finance and Contracting Unit in the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Albania.
The specific objectives of this project are related to strengthen young people’s knowledge capacities to understand EU accession dimensions and participate at activities concerning EU integration process as well as to encourage exchanges and peer to peer learning among Albanian and Italian youth groups and NGOs, in order to foster voluntary engagement, learning mobility, solidarity and intercultural understanding.
The impact of the actions of EU4AL project, is foreseen to be long lasting and it will serve as a model of informal education and youth engagement on issues to youth interest beyond EU integration process.
“Shine” trainings were about research and argumentation, critical thinking and public speaking skills. A training curriculum on leadership and active citizenship was designed and delivered to the young people part of the project. This curriculum was tailor made to the needs and the capacities of the young people, aimed to meet their interest and engage them actively using interactive and energetic learning techniques.
CSR communication is understood as a “holistic communicative approach” dealing with today's societal challenges organizations are facing.
